Keys To Our Services
At Audiology Services we are known for our family approach to hearing loss treatment. Dr. Mark Ross, Professor Emeritus at the University of Connecticut, an audiologist and long-time hearing aid user has stated, “If a family member has a hearing loss, the entire family has a hearing problem.” Whenever possible we strive to address the larger problems of hearing loss.
Our patients and family members are given the opportunity to be educated about hearing loss, its impact on communication and the treatment avenues available to address the problems confronted. We believe that informed treatment decisions through a family approach lead us to greater levels of success.
We provide diagnostic hearing services with state of the art equipment and work with only the highest quality hearing product laboratories. Our goal is to provide our patients with innovative hearing solutions for their everyday living. Our quest is to assist our patients to find solutions that address their lifestyle, cosmetic preferences and budget. This collaborative team approach between the patient and the audiologist is a second key to our success.
Finally, we practice a holistic approach to hearing loss treatment with an eye constantly directed toward our patients’ primary care physician. The resultant triad between you -- the patient -- our professional staff and your physician ensures that when necessary your hearing loss is managed medically in addition to the treatment that we provide.
